Generalmente la chispa creativa e innovación se pierden cuando se pierde el respeto por el conocimiento del colaborador, es decir cuando no se les permite desarrollar su ingenio, imaginación, ideas, etc. y solo nos enfocamos en el cumplimiento cerrado, estructurado, planificado y estricto de un KPI... Debemos permitir que los colaboradores desarrollen su capacidad completa y no solo el esperado dentro de un plan, con eso siempre habrá algo más que proponer y discutir. Por ultimo, debemos considerar siempre al colaborador como el mejor, entregándoles desafios pero también oportunidades y dejando que haga lo que mejor sabe hacer.

To ignite a team with lack of creativity and innovation, it is required to encourage the team members to learn new skills and come forward with brainstorming ideas. Analysis of case studies about great projects top companies may help them to improve their performance up to the level of expectations. Interactive sessions through Interdepartmental collaborations of excellent teams also make great impact on the success of a team with lower performance. Teaching and learning clubs will be ideal for making effective teams.

In my experience, I start by fostering an environment that encourages experimentation and embraces failure as a learning opportunity. I introduced brainstorming sessions where every idea, no matter how unconventional, is welcomed. I encouraged cross-functional collaboration to bring fresh perspectives into problem-solving. Additionally, I provide time for my team to explore new skills or work on passion projects related to their roles. We recognize and celebrate creative efforts, even if they don't immediately lead to success, as this builds confidence and a culture of continuous innovation.

One thing that can be useful is that we need the team to feel comfortable to share ideas, majority of the time the sharing platform is not available or else they will feel that it will get shut down because people might think it is not achievable. For the same scenario following aspect can be done, - Create a space for ideas to be shared, these are just ideas so not workable model. - Discuss the same in a team meetings, so that the person can share the vision and will have a platform. - This will also lead to people supporting the person by joining in the vision to make a workable mode. - Create a pilot project and monitor the progress with pitfalls and success aspects. - Release the idea on broader forum as a lead and appreciate the person

Based on my experience, lack of creative spark could be caused by various factors like, ideas not been received well or burn out. One useful thing to ignite the spark is to create an open, non-judgmental environment where team members feel comfortable sharing even unconventional ideas. Make it clear that all ideas are welcome, and there’s no such thing as a “bad” idea in brainstorming sessions. Also, recognize and reward creative efforts, even if they don’t always result in immediate success. Celebrate attempts to innovate as much as successes to encourage continuous experimentation.
