Efacec has successfully completed the qualification of the R#SPACE Project – RTE Smart Protection Automation and Control Ecosystem for the French Electricity Transmission Network, officially receiving the final qualification letters from Réseau de Transport d'Électricité (RTE)⚡✅   Launched in 2020, the project developed two smart substation devices: MCU 500, a stand-alone merging unit (SAMU) & TPU L500, a bay control unit with a distance protection function (BCU), integrating Automation Studio into RTE’s tools. Fully compliant with the client’s specs, the equipment is now installed at Ploeren, where the pilot of the project was carried out, and expanding to Palluau, Puypertus, and Pian-Médoc in 2024.   Additionally, the new devices are being used in RTE laboratories for testing, maintenance and on training platforms for technicians and engineers.   This IEC 61850-based innovation enhances efficiency, resilience, and security in power systems, including configuration, data models and cybersecurity, making it possible to achieve functional and non-operational interoperability.   A milestone that marks the successful development and approval of innovative solutions for smart digital substations.   #RTE #Efacec #Empoweringthefuture

Another milestone! Efacec has recently achieved a B rating from the Carbon Disclosure Project - CDP, an assessment that measures companies' performance and transparency regarding environmental and climate change issues. Key initiatives such as the annual calculation of the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory, the approval of decarbonisation targets by the Science Based Targets initiative, and the electrification of the fleet were decisive factors in this evaluation. 🇩🇰 Denmark, we meet again! 🇩🇰 Efacec has been selected by GoCollective, a key Danish transport operator, to provide 186 electric charging points in 2025. The project, in partnership with Wennstrom E-mobility, includes the supply of QC180 chargers with 180 kW of power and a 15-year maintenance plan.
