Can you sum up a cybersecurity event with a box of chocolates? Absolutely. At yesterday's Digital Operational Resilience Summit (DORS) by NOS SGPS, we brought a sweet reminder of why prevention is key, a chocolate box with the message: “Um pentest por dia, não sabes o bem que te fazia” (the Portuguese pentest version of "an apple a day keeps the doctor away", pretty catchy) 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸 — it’s an ongoing commitment to resilience, starting with Continuous Pentesting as a proactive way to keep organizations ahead of cyber threats. Sharing this vision with industry leaders and discussing the power of offensive security was both rewarding and insightful. A big thanks to everyone who stopped by! When cybersecurity pros take on paintball, things get intense! 💥 Even though we’re all about offensive security, this time it was Green Team for the win (sorry, Blue Team better luck next time but you could already sense the defeat with the epic pose of the Green Team). Here’s what went down: • Someone climbed a tree to gain the upper hand... didn’t fire a single shot, but still, those CrossFit sessions are paying off 🙊 • The most-hit player is also the one who captured the flag and won the game 🏁 • One of us went Super Saiyan, charging behind enemy lines and hitting everyone in sight 🐉 • A brave soldier proved that 𝒶𝓂𝓂𝓊𝓃𝒾𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃 𝓂𝒶𝓃𝒶𝑔𝑒𝓂𝑒𝓃𝓉 is everything by dropping an entire magazine on the ground 💣 • A clever player hid behind a tree half their size and somehow, not a single hit (probably using cheats) 🔫 • Full-on committed, one of our teammates found the perfect hiding spot: in the thorn bushes 🌿 • And yes, friendly fire was a thing. Even with the victim shouting, "I'm on your team" and being the only two left on the field, there was no stopping that warrior 🤦♂️ Think you can guess who did what? 👀 Get it right, and you could be joining us for the next #teambuilding! 

𝗖𝗩𝗘-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰-𝟰𝟳𝟱𝟳𝟱 in Fortinet FortiManager 🔐 A critical zero-day vulnerability (𝗖𝗩𝗘-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰-𝟰𝟳𝟱𝟳𝟱) has been identified in Fortinet's FortiManager, being actively exploited since June. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute code remotely, compromising device management and security. Researchers from Google’s Mandiant and Threat Analysis Group (TAG) report that threat actors have exploited this flaw, affecting organizations across various sectors.
