🔴 Second great news of the month for our Apps Market: it’s now featured in Dacia vehicles! (Renault Group). And it kicked off with… … the all-new Duster and Spring models, now in production! In fact, around 30,000 Dacia cars on the road were already equipped with this Aptoide Automotive Apps Market solution as of August. Dacia drivers can enjoy a variety of apps, from Spotify and Amazon Music to Here Navigation 🎵. We’re glad to welcome Dacia to the 22 other car brands already partnering with Aptoide Automotive. Together, we’re transforming the in-car experience through seamless connectivity. And we’re not stopping there. Our goal: to reach 20% of smart vehicles market share by 2025 through our Apps Market!

We’re the first Tier 1 supplier in the auto industry to offer a vehicle-friendly and safe Microsoft Teams solution within an automotive apps market, through our company Faurecia Aptoide Automotive (FAA)! Now, you can participate in meetings, access emails, and manage your calendars directly from your vehicle. As you can guess, safety was our top priority here. For instance, meetings automatically switch to audio-only when you drive. And reading chats or emails are disabled.  Coming soon 🔜 AI-assisted voice commands and Gen AI-based functionalities will let drivers control “FORVIA Meetings for Microsoft Teams” hands-free. Delivering a high-quality, safe, and seamless user experience for this new in-car application was a real challenge. It required close collaboration with Microsoft, and ongoing pilot programs with European and Chinese automakers. This app now joins the 200+ other applications in FORVIA’s leading Apps Market!

Day 1 of #IBC2024 and what a great first day! 🙌 We had the pleasure of hosting together with 3SS and with the support from Connected Vehicle Systems Alliance (COVESA) "The Car as a New Entertainment Platform" workshop. Very interesting to hear testimonies from our partners YouTube through Nick Newell and from BBC with Elisha Sessions how they are integrating Automotive into their strategies and businesses. During the workshop, we hosted a panel discussion "Beyond the Dashboard: Expectations, Lessons Learned, and What’s Next for In-Car Entertainment" with key industry players: Melina Mascolo from BMW Group, Mishel Podolskis from Mercedes-Benz AG, Elisha Sessions from BBC, Mattijs de Valk from Faurecia Aptoide Automotive and Sven Eckoldt from CARIAD. Their insights and knowledge were very valuable and have provided the attendees with the vision from different sides of the automotive industry. Agathe Renard and Benjamin Rosenberg - although you were not able to join the panel, we want to thank you for agreeing to participate.
