Demonstrating the powerful synergy between industry and art, Fundilusa hosted the presentation of "Livre Trânsito," a transformative work by resident artist Alexandra Ferreira as part of the XXIII Cerveira International Art Biennial. Alexandra's project reflects on the use and occupation of public space, exploring both its material and immaterial aspects. During her residency, she delved into the artistic possibilities of discarded or obsolete materials from the Campos industrial area. Collaborating with our factory and the local community, she transformed industrial waste into compelling artworks, highlighting the importance of the circular economy—a principle we deeply value at Fundilusa. This event reinforces our commitment to sustainable innovation and underscores how art can serve as a catalyst for responsible practices within the industry. We extend our gratitude to Fundação Bienal de Arte de Cerveira, Alexandra Ferreira, curator Mafalda Santos, and the students of ETAP - Escola Profissional for their enthusiastic participation. Fundilusa remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that bridge industry and culture, promoting sustainability and responsible innovation in the naval sector. #Fundilusa #SustainableInnovation #CircularEconomy #ArtAndIndustry #CerveiraBiennial #NavalIndustry #SustainableCulture
