Lordelo do Ouro: Urban and Landscape Renewal Underway The urban transformation of Lordelo do Ouro is about to begin! This project will strengthen community ties by preserving the site’s natural and urban identity while enhancing public spaces. Through the rehabilitation of the urban environment, it will protect nature—its flora, fauna, and water cycle - while enriching pedestrian paths to maximize accessibility and functionality. Guided by Structure, Character, and Social Catalysts, the plan will reorganize the road network, connect neighborhoods through the central water stream, and create vibrant new spaces for sports, urban farming, plazas, and playgrounds. A new chapter for this part of the city is about to unfold! A urban project resulting from the collaboration between hori-zonte and Baum.
