🔎 July 2024 Exit Deals Snapshot: Energy outshines other challenge areas Year-to-date, 2024 has seen 186 exit deals, tracking uniformly with 2023. However, in July 2024, exit deals dipped to a count of 17, with just 15 acquisitions, marking the lowest of the year. 💰 Equity financing takes a resilient lead Year-to-date, equity financing has remained steady compared to 2023, taking a dominant position in July with nearly 80% of total funding and 46% of deals. Debt financing, on the other hand, dropped to $1.8 billion across just 14 deals—the lowest this year. July's capital flow was highly concentrated, especially in the energy and transport sectors, with 6 megarounds and no gigarounds. 📊 Climate Tech Funding Update: July 2024 Climate tech funding, including non-dilutive, has hit $57.9 billion year-to-date, a 21.4% increase from this point in 2023, reflecting strong investor confidence despite market challenges. However, the number of deals has dropped  24.5% from last year. July saw nearly $4 billion raised across 446 deals, consistent with recent monthly averages. 📈 Notable Trends?
