WE WON! 🏆 the challenge #1 from the first women-only hackathon in #Lisbon organized by Yuliia Bilyk, the master mind behind this beautiful opportunity to hack our abilities with AI and build no-code solutions. Here, my key points: 💡 Iterate, Iterate, Iterate. Living life and work in sprints has been a challenge, perfection is not always the best option to succeed. 💥 Be present! Nothing that hasn't happened yet will change the actual outcome of your work. Don't be anxious about what you don't know if it will work, JUST DO IT. ✅ Always with your team, little time alone. Control the time you work alone, give yourself the opportunity to be open and listen other ways. THAT'S WHEN #INNOVATION HAPPENS! 🔥 Giving up is not an option. When I used to run, I will never forget my trainers saying: "When you cannot run, walk" but don't ever stop! Big congrats to this woman Angela Nuzzi , who stayed until the end, presenting a very well structured project. Congrats to the winners of the challenge #2 who rocked with their chatbot solution 🤖. Mounia Mikou Sarah Louragh 🌞 Support other women, I can't explain how the vibe of female empathy and sisterhood filled my heart with joy the past weekend. Grateful to have worked with my smart and beautiful teammates May Zhan and Kate Shifman during 3 intense days and not going to the beach, but satisfied with this achievement. 🚀 InnoWomen Hackathon Victory ! 🏆 Last weekend, I had the privilege of stepping outside my usual role as a lawyer and diving into the world of AI and no-code solutions at the first women-only hackathon in Lisbon. Alongside an incredible team of talented women, we took home 1st place in Challenge #2 presented by Inês Oliveira Pestana from AdvanceWork, Inc. ! 🎉 With zero background, I managed to create a smart chatbot—proving that stepping out of your comfort zone can lead to amazing results. 💡 Key Learnings: 👉 Focus on what’s essential: This was a great reminder of the Pareto principle—identify the 20% that brings 80% of the value! Tks @João from Build Up Labs - startup studio & incubator for the workshop on MVP ! 🤝 Collaboration is key: No challenge is won alone. It was an honor to work with brilliant minds like Sarah Louragh and Inês Russo Figueiredo, and receive support from mentors like Yuliia Bilyk, Pedro Rocha and @Baz. When we count on each other, we go further! 🔄 Persistence makes the difference: There are ups and downs in the process. The key is to keep moving forward through difficulties. The more mistakes we make, the closer we get to the solution. Keep trying one more time! 🌱 Step out of your comfort zone: As a lawyer dedicated to real estate and business, stepping into tech was a bold new experience. It reinforced the value of continuous learning and adaptation. This hackathon, organized by Yuliia Bilyk, was an inspiring space for female empowerment and innovation. Thank you Olha Chernova for the organisation ! I’m excited about the possibilities that AI and tech bring to both business and legal solutions. Now a new chapter starts thanks to the prizes we received. Day 2 of the InnoWomen Hackathon has ended, i could not feel more tired but it’s a sweet tiredness. It is amazing to see so many women from diverse walks of life gathering together to learn new tech skills and discover what opportunities no-code and AI can offer to them. I also went through a challenge: my laptop broke a day before the event and i understood a) how PC- dependent i am b) without the team who you can back you up in difficult situations you will not go far… thank u Sadia Maqsood Olha Chernova Angelina Zhukivska Jennifer Toje Also thanks ShravanKumar P S for the design support One more day to go. Let’s see who of the participants sticks till the end and presents solution at the Demo Day 😏 As challenging as it is, girls have been working rlly hard and soon are going go pitch what worked, what did not work, and what needs to be further developed.
