Project ValueCare is an EU funded project which aims to deliver personalised integrated (health and social) care services, better outcomes for older people and improved care experience. It also aims to improve staff satisfaction and greater efficiency in the use of resources and coordination of care. It will do this in a setting that ensures trust of users and policy makers with regard to data access, protection and sharing and which can be replicated and deployed at large scale in other EU countries.

Almost 5 years of passionate effort to reaching out the final results of the Project ValueCare. 1680 citizens engaged in 7 EU Pilots 840 of them took part in the intervention study where Value Based Health Care Model has been implemented with the support of a virtual coach. Now we know the “Value” created and the unit cost of investment needed to improve the health outcomes in each patient condition. If you want to know more about the ValueCare experience and how we declined VBHC Model into the longevity context you can now read the Book that has been launched last Friday in Rotterdam during the Project’s final event run by EMC. Thankful to all colleagues with a particular mention to Hein Raat, MD, PhD, MBA and all EMC team for leading us along the way. Grateful to Mona Khalid and all the AB’s members for all the precious feedbacks and support given. Beside the Consortium members a special thanks goes to Fred van Eenennaam and Jelle Walraven. We hope that you will join the movement of those who want to innovate the health care sector by leading a VBHC transition. This requires knowledge but, overall: a Value Based thinking.
