The first Serenity baby is expected to be born in early May, and we are doing our best to encourage Sofia to slow down a bit. Today, in Portugal we celebrate Carnation Day (Revolução dos Cravos). Before, Portuguese lived in a dictatorship for 41 years. Sometimes, too many times, we forget how blissful we are to live in Portugal, where freedom and peace are not just words but tangible realities. We may not have been present during the Revolution, but we are the beneficiaries of its legacy. We are the sons and daughters, the grandsons and granddaughters, of those who fought for rights such as freedom of speech, education, health, justice and equality. For example, only after Carnation Day, women were allowed to vote for the first time in Portugal. Or it was granted access to healthcare, education or justice to all the citizens. We need to remember and honor our history, and the principles of Democracy, understanding that freedom in society is about self-respect, respect for each other, tolerance and common sense. As a company working with so many nationalities, at Serenity we have the privilege to learn more about tolerance, acceptance and diversity. We are looking for a Booking Manager to join Esténio and Márcia. Here's a breakdown of the role: Booking and Reservation Management: Handle bookings and reservations efficiently. This involves liaising with clients to understand their requirements and preferences and then arranging the necessary bookings accordingly. Scheduling and Coordination: Create and maintain schedules, ensuring that there are no conflicts and that everything runs smoothly. Coordination with different departments or teams may be necessary to align schedules effectively. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service is essential in this role, acting as a point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their needs are met before, during, and after the booking process. Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintaining accurate and updated records of bookings, and customer information is vital. - Proficiency in Portuguese and English, both oral and written, is essential. - Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09h00 - 18h00 - The work is office-based and located in Lisbon. - Experience in healthcare/ insurance sectors is highly desirable. - Starting date: as soon as possible!
