Accelerating Forward Together: Since January, Freudenberg has been an official partner of Formula Student Germany—an international design competition where student teams from around the world present and test racing cars they have developed themselves. In January, we had the great opportunity to meet the TU Munich racing team on the campus in Garching for an exciting workshop! Fourteen dedicated team members of the TU FAST racing team, from a wide range of disciplines, met with four company representatives from Freudenberg Chemical Specialities (FCS), Chem-Trend, Klüber Lubrication, and omniTECHNIK Mikroverkapselungs GmbH - SurTec Group affiliate. Together they discussed and worked hard to develop ideas and solutions for racing success. Whether release agents, fasteners or lubricants: it was a spin through the world of the Freudenberg Group and FCS - including our impressive portfolio. We shared our concentrated know-how and creative ideas with the team. We are impressed by the passion and existing expertise of the TU FAST racing team and are keeping our fingers crossed for a successful racing season! Helping others has become a cherished tradition for us, and this year was no exception. Once again, employees at SurTec International and SurTec Deutschland came together to collect food, hygiene products, and monetary donations, which we proudly handed over to a German food bank – Tafel Bensheim e.V.. Tafel Bensheim does incredible work, supporting 1,400 people in need across Bensheim, Heppenheim, and Lorsch. Their efforts are made possible by 𝟮𝟱𝟱 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀, who work in rotating shifts every four weeks to ensure help reaches those who need it most. We are proud to contribute to this cause and deeply grateful to our colleagues for their generosity and support. 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. We are pleased to announce that Provexa Ytbehandling in Sweden has qualified as SurTec 650 applicator. SurTec has developed a process that allows applicators of SurTec 650 to qualify for a specific requirement. The resulting qualification gives the end customer or OEM an indication of the process capabilities of a SurTec 650 coater for a specific requirement. On our password-protected website, OEMs and Tiers can find qualified SurTec 650 applicators for their specific application.
