Na edição de 2024/25 do prestigiado Guia de Vinhos da Revista Adega Portugal, os vinhos da The Fladgate Partnership destacaram-se com pontuações extraordinárias que refletem a nossa dedicação e compromisso com a qualidade. O Taylor's Very Very Old Port foi eleito um dos melhores Vinhos do Porto, com impressionantes 95 pontos. Mereceu destaque pela sua "tensão e profundidade", assim como a sua "acidez pulsante e textura cremosa". O Croft 10 Anos Tawny também brilhou, alcançando 93 pontos. Referido como "gostoso de beber", com "final untuoso e persistente", foi apreciado pelos seus "toques de frutos secos, frutas vermelhas em compota e cacau". Os vinhos da Fladgate Still & Sparkling Wines mereceram também atenção especial, com o "preciso, fluido e refinado" Milagres Alvarinho 2016 e o "estruturado" Quinta da Pedra Gold Edition 2014 a conquistarem ambos 94 pontos. O Royal Palmeira 2020, "tenso e vibrante", recebeu 93 pontos, assim como o Royal Palmeira 2019, que "chama atenção pela vibrante acidez e pela textura tensa e cremosa". Taylor’s was delighted to be part of The Golden Vines® Gala at the historic Real Casa de Correos, where Sotheby’s hosted The Golden Vines® Live Auction. The evening was graced by world-class hosts, outstanding entertainment, and a menu by two-Michelin-starred chef Mario Sandoval, complemented by fine wines and spirits. Taylor’s Golden Age 50 Year Old Tawny, served from an impressive 5-litre vessel, showcased a unique blend crafted from rare, wood-aged Ports that matured over five decades in oak casks. The result: a Port of perfect balance, exquisite complexity, and smooth density. With notes of rum and raisin, clove, nutmeg, and a hint of cracked black pepper, the Golden Age 50 Year Old Tawny offered a tasting experience that resonated with the evening’s spirit of excellence and celebration. Adding to the occasion, Taylor's contributed an exclusive auction lot crafted for those who cherish our rich heritage embedded in Porto and the Douro Valley. As we return home after a truly magical weekend in Madrid, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us this far on our journey. Thank you to all the estates who donated one-of-a-kind lots to the Golden Vines Auction, and thank you to everyone who bid on them. Thank you to everyone who has helped us spread the word of the Auction and thank you to those who have generously made personal donations to us. And of course, last but in no way least, a huge thank you to Liquid Icons for organising the Golden Vines Awards and Auction and for continuing to support our work. Together, you make it possible for us to help even more talented individuals around the world. People who, simply due to circumstance, are unable to advance their careers on their own. We believe that everyone who works hard to achieve their dreams deserves a chance at success, and we could not be prouder of our incredibly driven and determined scholars. It has been a true pleasure and joy to celebrate with Kanchan, Emiliano and Bento (and Flavia in spirit!) this weekend, and we look forward to returning to work and knocking down even more hurdles in people's ways. Our 1994 Vintage Ports have received exceptional accolades from esteemed wine critic Axel Probst. Como tem vindo a ser habitual, iniciámos mais um mês com um Welcome Day para acolher os novos colaboradores do Grupo The Fladgate Partnership. Durante o evento, apresentámos o grupo e as suas diversas unidades de negócio, proporcionando uma visão abrangente da nossa estrutura e operações. O dia culminou com uma atividade na Exposição Universo Dalí, no museu Atkinson, que consistiu numa visita pela exposição durante a qual os colegas, divididos em equipas, tiveram de cumprir vários desafios, nomeadamente, desenhar utilizando elementos surrealistas. Bem-vindos à equipa! 🙌 . As usual, we kicked off another month with a Welcome Day to welcome new employees to The Fladgate Partnership Group. During the event, we presented the group and its various business units, providing a comprehensive overview of our structure and operations. The day culminated with an activity at the Dalí Universe Exhibition at the Atkinson Museum, which consisted of a tour of the exhibition during which colleagues, divided into teams, had to complete various challenges, including drawing using surrealist elements.
