Searching for experts in franchising and biomimicry org design for panel on: Regenerative Scaling To answer the question: inspired by nature how can we rapidly spread regenerative solutions, organisation patterns, business models world-wide? I am excited to be organising a panel discussion on this with Jon Connors titled "Creating a Regenerative Franchise Model - How to scale for-purpose organizations?" We will explore the frontier of regenerative scaling - how to imagine and building a regenerative franchise model. How to scales impact by replicating business model patterns, while fostering local community empowerment. I ask after attending an eye-opening event recently here in Portugal - The Gathering of Tribes. You might be thinking, what's the real impact of this? It's about shifting the focus from protesting to actively striving to create a new system that can lead to more constructive outcomes; harnessing the knowledge and creativity of those advocating for change to build solutions that address the root issues of the current system. Harvesting I’ve had quite a few attempts at capturing my learnings, insights and celebration of The Future is Now camp at The Gathering. But what I wrote felt clunky and captured neither the precious magic that unfolded nor my more critical reflections about the event. Then today I stumbled across something: an impromptu poem I performed in our closing ceremony of the ‘village’ that The Future is Now created together with Greaterthan and 7 Billion Presidents. What I did there was capturing a word or a phrase from each human that shared something meaningful in the closing, something they harvested. Then I changed the order and spontaneously created a poem, spoken in the moment from the snippets that I had written down in my notebook. It was one of those really meaningful moments for me during the gathering, a moment of pure presence, creativity, collective wisdom and sacredness. "Who is the Golden Connection you are seeking?" is one of my top 10 Great Questions recently. I fell in love with it so much, I'm hosting 3rd workshop this week around it. I won't lie to you. It's because of The Gathering again. That lovely field in The Garden, North of Porto invited me to propose such a workshop and I said YES! It was exactly 2 weeks ago. Shocking amount of value delivered to a table of 10 people, within 90 min. resulted in turning it into an on-going setting. We called it a Golden Table and we have giants sitting with us. They also told me sth. like: "Alex, this workshop is pure gold. You have to do it for more people." And who am I to refuse to such request, most especially that it's pure fun for me to do it. Again, yesterday. I did such session for The Regenerative Marketing Movement, which brought 8 people, inc. key players. This time we needed 120 min. To create a regenerative system we must prioritise the creation of natural capital AND financial capital They are not mutually exclusive. This is the first root to a regenerative and responsible capitalism that I wrote in Another Way manifesto and what I shared at the The Gathering of Tribes event in Portugal a few weeks ago. We must know where we’re going - and we must have an implementable vision of how we are going to get there - the manifesto is a way and something I wrote in a few days writing a bit in the morning and evening powered by the flow that can come through unlocking creativity, productivity and clarity through food. *^ this is what happens through the GROW food health coaching program I share - we create at new speeds. Things will never be the same again. It’s true what they say that there is life before & after The Gathering. ***** I’ve transformed something major; the first 2 days were super difficult, I couldn't adjust, I felt tired, grumpy, bleeee... My brain was asking me: "What the fuck am I doing with here with this bunch of crazy hippies...?"; it wanted to know already know how it's going to end, whom I will meet, will they like me, will they be serious etc. I clearly remember that moment, the switch... LETTING GO OF THE OUTCOME... Duuh... I've heard this million times, but that moment I found how it's happening. And I've learned how to stop it, because it's not happening by itself, lol... Thus, I've dissolved into the present moment... Since then I wasn't grumpy anymore, but sweet & lovely and I was craving every second of this high and divine space, wishing this could last a month rather than few days... My brain got very humble and bowed with reverence to the crazy hippies... The Holy Graal of the here-and-now, switch from Kairos to Chronos, from push to flow... I found it!!! 🏆😍 ***** I felt seen, heard, felt, understood and deeply validated; welcomed, appreciated and even celebrated; it happened before but never it such density yet;... 😭😭😭 (happiness tears) One guy told me: "You inspire me by just being you. Sometimes I stop doing something I'm doing just to observe you..." ***** I’ve experienced an unapologetic invitation for co-creation, something I only knew from my own crazy projects; there are more people thinking like me!!! An absolute encouragement and total freedom of stepping up, adding your line or two to the song we sing together;...
