Al Jazeera Media Institute

The Al Jazeera Media Institute is dedicated to the betterment of the Arab media industry. Through its specialised media courses, it empowers trainees with the skills they need to become successful media personnel. Since launching in 2004, the first-of-its-kind institution has offered courses in printed and electronic journalism, TV journalism, radio, media management and public relations—educating more than 34,000 people across the world. Utilising top media professionals from the Al Jazeera Media Network, it works with trainees from a variety of different backgrounds and experience levels. Trainees range from new graduates looking to join the media field to seasoned veterans from regional and international media outlets. The Institute works with public and private institutions within the community to help employees improve their media and communication proficiencies. As a pioneering leader in the industry, it continues to evolve its courses around a constantly shifting media landscape. Whether it’s traditional or new media, the Al Jazeera Media Institute endeavours to be a resource for all trainees, developing talented media-savvy people who impact the Arab world and beyond.
