    QatarEnergy increases participation in Suriname’s offshore exploration QatarEnergy signed an agreement with Chevron to acquire a 20% working interest in a production sharing contract for block 5 offshore Suriname. Pursuant to the signed agreement, Chevron (the operator) will retain a 40% interest, while Paradise Oil Company, an affiliate of Suriname’s national oil company “Staatsolie”, will own the remaining 40%. In remarks on this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QatarEnergy, said: “This agreement highlights our continued commitment to exploring the promising basins of Suriname and marks an exciting new partnership with Chevron in the international upstream sector.” His Excellency Minister Al-Kaabi added: "We are pleased to conclude this acquisition with our partners and look forward to working with them in block 5, offshore Suriname. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the authorities of the Republic of Suriname, and our partner Chevron for their support in reaching this agreement.” Block 5 is located offshore Suriname in shallow water depths of about 30-45 meters.     قطر للطاقة توسّع مشاركتها في الاستكشاف البحري قبالة سواحل سورينام وقعت قطر للطاقة اتفاقية مع شركة شيفرون تستحوذ بموجبها على حصة تبلغ 20% من عقد المشاركة بالإنتاج للمنطقة5  الواقعة قبالة سواحل جمهورية سورينام. وبموجب الاتفاقية، تحتفظ شيفرون (المشغّل) بحصة تبلغ 40٪، بينما تمتلك شركة بارادايس أويل التابعة لشركة النفط الوطنية في سورينام "ستاتسولي" الحصة المتبقية البالغة 40%. وفي معرض تعليقه بهذه المناسبة، قال سعادة المهندس سعد بن شريده الكعبي، وزير الدولة لشؤون الطاقة، العضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي لقطر للطاقة: "تؤكد هذه الاتفاقية التزامنا المستمر باستكشاف الأحواض الواعدة في سورينام وتعكس بداية شراكة جديدة مهمة مع شركة شيفرون في قطاع التنقيب والاستكشاف الدولي." وأضاف سعادة الوزير الكعبي: "نحن سعيدون بإتمام عملية الاستحواذ هذه مع شركائنا ونتطلع إلى العمل معهم في المنطقة رقم 5 قبالة سواحل سورينام. وأود أن أغتنم هذه الفرصة لأقدم الشكر لسلطات جمهورية سورينام ولشريكتنا شيفرون على دعمهم في الوصول إلى هذا الاتفاق." تقع المنطقة رقم 5 في مياه ضحلة يتراوح عمقها بين 30 و45 متراً. وقد دخل عقد المشاركة بالإنتاج في مرحلة الاستكشاف الثانية مع الالتزام بحفر بئر استكشافية. #قطر_للطاقة⁣ #قطر

    QatarEnergy announces its support of the initiative of distributing interim dividends “semi-annually” by its listed companies on Qatar Stock Exchange QatarEnergy, driven by its commitment to maximize the value to shareholders in the companies listed on Qatar Stock Exchange, that reflects positively on the national economy and is one of the key pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030, announced its support of the initiative of interim dividends distribution by the companies that are listed on Qatar Stock Exchange in which QatarEnergy is a shareholder. Commenting on the announcement, His Excellency Mr. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QatarEnergy, said: “The distribution of dividends on a semi-annual basis is a key step in supporting efforts and initiatives that aim to strengthen the national economy through developing Qatar’s capital market. This is in line with the best regional and international standards and practices, and will help enhance our market’s competitive advantages and bolster its liquidity.” His Excellency Minister Al-Kaabi added: “The distribution of interim dividends will enhance investors’ confidence in the operational performance of companies listed on Qatar Stock Exchange, the strength of their financial position, and their positive cashflow generation ability.” QatarEnergy will coordinate exclusively with Industries Qatar “IQCD”, Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company “MPHC”, Qatar Aluminum Manufacturing Company “QAMCO”, Qatar Fuel Company - Woqod “QFLS”, Qatar Electricity and Water Company “QEWS”, and Qatar Gas Transport Company Limited - Nakilat “QGTS” for the purpose of semi-annual dividend distribution, in line with all relevant regulations and procedures. #QatarEnergy #YourEnergyTransitionPartner #Qatar

    قطر للطاقة تعلن عن دعمها لتوجه توزيع أرباح مرحلية "نصف سنوية" بشركاتها المُدرجة ببورصة قطر  تعلن قطر للطاقة أنه من منطلق حرصها على تعزيز الفائدة التي تعود على المُساهمين في الشركات المُدرجة في بورصة قطر بما ينعكس إيجاباً على الاقتصاد الوطني الذي يشكل أحد المبادئ الأساسية في رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، فقد قررت قطر للطاقة دعم توجه توزيع أرباح مرحلية نصف سنوية في الشركات التي تساهم فيها المدرجة ببورصة قطر. وفي هذا السياق، صرّح سعادة المهندس سعد بن شريده الكعبي، وزير الدولة لشؤون الطاقة، العضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي لقطر للطاقة، قائلا: "يُعد توزيع أرباح نصف سنوية خطوة بارزة في دعم الجهود والمبادرات التي تهدف الى تعزيز الاقتصاد الوطني من خلال تطوير سوق رأس المال في دولة قطر، بما يتماشى مع أفضل المعايير والممارسات الدولية والإقليمية مما يعزز من ميزاته التنافسية وتعزيز سيولة السوق". وأضاف سعادة الوزير الكعبي: "إن توزيع أرباح مرحلية من شأنه ان يعزز ثقة المستثمرين في الأداء التشغيلي للشركات المدرجة في بورصة قطر وقوة مركزها المالي وقدرتها على تحقيق تدفقات نقدية ". هذا، وستقوم قطر للطاقة بالتنسيق حصرا مع كل من شركة صناعات قطر، شركة مسيعيد للبتروكيماويات القابضة، شركة قطر لصناعة الألمنيوم، شركة قطر للوقود "وقود"، شركة الكهرباء والماء القطرية، شركة قطر لنقل الغاز المحدودة "ناقلات" لتحقيق هذا الغرض وفقاً للإجراءات والنُظم ذات الصلة. #قطر_للطاقة⁣ #قطر
