musicluvr This is a powerful album! This may be my favorite album of theirs now. It's really hard to have a favorite song but I keep playing "Herbal Planet Jam" quite a bit. Favorite track: Herbal Planet Jam.

leaf_hound A life without The Re-Stoned and Maat Lander is possible, but pointless ;-) Favorite track: Fractal Panorama.

don_krouskop A thundering, rampaging Tyrannosaurus of a recording, exploding from your speakers with earth-shaking intensity. "Fractal Panorama" and "Mental Loop" provide some moments of heady, meditative calm, but most of GREEN SESSION is pure volcanic fury. Calls to mind the relentless metal onslaughts of RAM'S HEAD and CHRONOCLASM. A fantastic eruption of sound, rhythm, and power, and a must-have for every fan of this band! Favorite track: Human Without Body.

about

In late February 2024, we recorded one of our rehearsals and thought it would be great to warm you up with music while waiting for our full-length studio album, which we have begun work on. We played songs from albums of different years (some in a new interpretation) and, of course, jammed.

Green Session. I'll try to tell you a little about the tracks.

Human Without Body is a track from the album 'Chrnoclasm'. It has been firmly entrenched in our concert set list for the past two years.
Solaris is a track from our recent EP 'Spectrum'. We also play it at every (rare) concert. Herbal Planet Jam is a typical case when we decided to just "play something" to warm up and tune the sound. Fortunately, I managed to press the record button at the beginning. Fractal Panorama is a composition from the first part of 'Stories of the Astral Lizard'. Initially, it was an improvisation that we had to learn ourselves for conscious performance. In the studio version, it is recorded with a djembe, but live, we naturally play it with a full setup. It's nice that at many concerts, it is recognized from the first chords. This means a lot to us. Three Shades is another composition from our fresh EP 'Spectrum'. Here, we probably play its middle part faster than in the studio version. Green Triangles is a very old track from our debut album 'Revealed Gravitations'. Since the end of last year, we have started playing it live again, adding a drum solo and an extended jam in the finale. Mental Loop - those who have attended our concerts probably remember that we usually start with a guitar intro with soundscapes. This is how both the band and the audience tune in for the upcoming journey. This is one of these intros, only recorded in the studio, and it closes this album.

The Re-Stoned город Москва, Russian Federation

THE RE-STONED – is an instrumental power trio from Moscow, Russia, which is generally considered by many as a 'psychedelic stoner rock' underground act because of the band's remarkable heavily fuzzed guitar sound, that is empowered by confident old-school muscular riffing. ... more
