- Raise your voice – speak up for students on your course and across campus. Be an advocate for your community!
- Be proactive – don’t just complain to your friends and group chats, meet with the people who have the power and influence to make your university experience one to remember
- Gain opportunities on and off-campus – gain valuable experience and leadership skills to help yourself stand out in the job market. Gain access to optional trainings to help you develop further
Which Positions are up for Election?
- UG and PG Course Reps – be the voice of your coursemates, sharing positive and negative feedback with staff and working collaboratively to find solutions that work for students
- PG Senior Reps – oversee the team of PG Course Reps within your school, honing your leadership skills
- Student Trustees – play an invaluable role in guiding the strategic direction of your Students’ Union
- Postgraduate Taught Students’ Officer – be the voice of Postgraduate Taught Students’ on campus, promoting and supporting their interests
- Postgraduate Research Students’ Officer – be the voice of Postgraduate Research Students’ on campus, promoting and supporting their interests
- UG and PG Student Councillors – vote on key changes that students want to see take place across the University of Reading and Reading Students’ Union
