Green Energy Innovative Biomass Cluster

The Green Energy Innovative Biomass Cluster’s mission is to become a structure capable of managing all of the aspects related to biomass, the most important source of renewable energy in Romania. The cluster ensures the necessary framework for the cooperation between cluster members and contributes to the development of regional, national and international cooperation. The vision of the cluster is to spread knowledge based on innovation and research. The aim of the cluster is to promote the market development of sustainable energy production and use with focus on the solid biomass. In 2016 the cluster has been awarded with the Silver Label of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative as a matter of recognition.
