It was an absolute pleasure to have visited the facilities at Airbus Canada as part of the team’s research for #Newsweek’s inaugural report on the aviation and aerospace industries. This year, Airbus is celebrating its 40th anniversary of presence in Canada. A huge thank you to CEO, Benoît SCHULTZ for taking the time to discuss Airbus’ A220 programme and how the company intends to balance ramping up production from 6 to 14 aircraft a month in 2026 while keeping sustainability commitments in mind.
