✅ OMV Petrom closes transaction with NewMed Energy to advance exploration in Bulgaria's Han Asparuh offshore block 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dj3c8uwf ➡️ After closing of the transaction, the two partners hold equal stakes in the project – each 50%, with OMV Petrom (through OMV Offshore Bulgaria) as operator of the project ➡️ The partners aim to start the drilling of an exploration well in 2025, subject to obtaining all the necessary permits. Based on the well’s results, additional drilling will be assessed. Cristian Hubati, member of the OMV Petrom Executive Board, responsible for Exploration and Production: "Access to local resources is essential for energy security, and through the upcoming #exploration activities we are opening new perspectives in the #Bulgarian Black Sea area. It is a complex process, with high #investments and we count on the support of all stakeholders to progress with the exploration according with our ambitious schedule."

Planes at Cluj International Airport ✈️ start using sustainable aviation fuel provided by OMV Petrom 🔗 https://lnkd.in/d98cszME Radu Caprau, our Executive Board member responsible for Refining and Marketing: "We are proud to contribute to the introduction of sustainable aviation fuel at Cluj International Airport. #SAF is produced from renewable raw materials such as vegetable oils and animal fats, transformed into fuels with properties similar to conventional kerosene using innovative technologies. At OMV Petrom, we have started construction works on a EUR 750 million investment so that, starting 2028, we can produce such fuels in Romania, at the Petrobrazi refinery. We believe in Romania's potential to become a regional hub for such fuels."

A safe sail-away for Transocean Barents! ✅🌊 The mobile drilling platform unit has left Constanța towards the Neptun Deep field, 160km offshore of Tuzla, in the Romanian Black Sea. There, it will start drilling the 10 production wells for the #NeptunDeep project, safely and on track!
