The start-up company RobotVision was founded in 2018. The manager of the company, Iosif Luchian, is a young researcher and PhD student at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca . His specialization is in Robotics (bachelor and master degree) and he applied his knowledge to develop robotic systems for industrial and medical applications. The company is built from a team of 5 people who, for about two years, focus only on research, following that the validation and the series production of the products will come in the next period. The main area of activity of RobotVision is the development of software packages for robots and peripheral systems of robots, industrial 3D printing, vision systems in robotics. Besides software development, RobotVision advanced performs design of lightweight structures and high resistance of coated materials, simulation of robotized and automated manufacturing processes even on devices for virtual reality. Artificial intelligence algorithms are not missing from the image processing and software management programs of robots. The RobotVision expertise consists in product development (robotic systems) and advanced control systems (using vision).
