Today, we were honored to join our clients, RPower and TEIUS SOLAR S.R.L., alongside Mr. Sebastian Burduja, Minister of Energy, for the signing of two financing contracts under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Investment 4.3. https://lnkd.in/dWfSnFg9 The projects make a significant contribution to energy storage capacity: 910 MWh of the total 1950 MWh invited for signature (47%) and 510 MWh of the total contracted capacity, representing 26% of the approved total. Financially, TDP has attracted around €30 million, representing 31% of the funding allocated in this call. These achievements reinforce TDP's position as a reliable strategic partner for sustainable energy projects in Romania, actively driving the green transition and the modernization of the energy sector. 🌍 TDP: Leading the Way in Financing Romania’s Energy Transition 🌱 We are proud to reaffirm our role as a leader in sustainable energy financing, driving Romania’s energy transformation with impactful projects under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Investment 4.3. This week, we celebrated the signing of two major financing contracts alongside our clients, RPower and TEIUȘ SOLAR, and with the support of Mr. Sebastian Burduja, Minister of Energy - https://lnkd.in/dkd3YyzG These projects will significantly enhance Romania’s energy storage capacity, a vital step in optimizing renewable energy and ensuring a more balanced and resilient energy system. 🔋 Key Projects: - RPOWER BESS - TWO: 245 MWh of storage capacity, supported by €15 million in financing. - TEIUȘ SOLAR: 117 MWh of storage capacity, backed by an €8 million investment. These are part of a €79.6 million funding initiative under the PNRR, which includes 11 contracts totaling €603.3 million, with €78.4 million co-financed. Together, these projects will deliver 1,546 MWh of operational storage capacity, covering 25% of the national energy system’s storage needs. 💡 TDP’s Impact: - Coordinated 53% of projects invited for signature (8 out of 15). - Managed 36% of signed contracts (4 out of 11). - Delivered 47% of the invited storage capacity (910 MWh out of 1,950 MWh). - Secured 33% of contracted storage capacity (510 MWh). - Attracted €23 million in financing, representing 30% of total funding. These achievements reflect our unwavering commitment to sustainable energy solutions that drive Romania’s economic growth while supporting the goals of the European Green Deal.
