🌱 How Serbia’s First Digital Farm Thrived Amid Climate Challenges In times of unpredictable and challenging climate conditions, Serbian farmer Nikola Lončar transformed his family farm in Belegiš into a #digitalfarming success story. To combat erratic weather, he adopted the Mobisan mobile solar generator, a pioneering technology from the Institute Mihajlo Pupin that has redefined farm management in Serbia. This technology revolutionized how he managed his crops and resources. Mobisan combines sensors, solar energy, and remote-control capabilities, enabling stable crop yields even in difficult seasons. The system automates irrigation and fertilization based on real-time data, conserving both water and energy. With Mobisan, crop yields increased by 30% while reducing diesel fuel use and CO2 emissions.
