💬 Solid Minds is excited to host an AMA on Addictions with Wenda, a Clinical Psychologist on our team. 💬 Wenda has over 10 years of experience working in public hospitals in France, supporting individuals with addictions to substances such as alcohol and drugs, as well as non-substance addictions like gambling and sex. Currently based in Rwanda, Wenda continues her important work, helping people in the area of addiction, while also providing training on the subject. In recent years, terms like "addiction" and "being addicted" have entered common language, even showing up in advertising campaigns. But when we talk about addiction from a psychological perspective, what exactly does it mean? In this AMA, Wenda will provide simple tools to help you understand addiction, misuse, and the continuum between use and addiction. Whether you're interested in assessing your own relationship with psychoactive substances (like alcohol) or certain behaviors, this session will offer insights and guidance. 📌 Wenda will be answering questions until October 17, so feel free to ask away! Your questions are welcome, and we look forward to helping you better understand this important topic. https://lnkd.in/guHbA6Xr
