Alaa Abdulaal, Chief of Digital Economy Foresight at the DCO, attended the 2nd ACD Business Forum in Doha, participating in two impactful sessions: "Digital Transformation Challenges" and "Business Path Towards Artificial Intelligence." In the first session, she emphasized the urgent need for global cooperation to address digital infrastructure gaps and align regulatory frameworks with rapid technological advancements. She also highlighted the importance of building a skilled digital workforce to support sustainable growth. We are pleased to announce the successful signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the DCO and the GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre in Al Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. This agreement addresses mutual interests and explores potential areas of collaboration, reinforcing our commitment to establishing a reliable legal framework for dispute resolution and enhancing digital inclusion. The DCO Secretary-General, Deemah AlYahya, and Dr. Kamal Al Hamad, the Secretary-General of the GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre, were present at the event to finalize this important partnership.
