Did you know that if you're connected to a Semantic Model using "Direct Query to AS" and have created local measures in your model, there's a simple way to list all the locally added measures? Just use this expression in the DAX Query View to easily access them! #powerbi #dax #daxqueryview

It’s been a while since my last post! Recently, I took on the challenge of visualizing a complex dataset with multiple dimensions, aiming to capture several insights in a single chart. Thanks to Power BI’s latest features, I customized a line chart with small multiples and a few tweaks to achieve the desired result. Using a World Bank and ILO dataset on regional labor force participation rates, I built this visual to represent my actual use case. At a glance, the chart is designed to provide answers to key questions, and I believe it effectively captures insights such as: • 𝖧𝗈𝗐 𝖽𝗈𝖾𝗌 𝗅𝖺𝖻𝗈𝗋 𝖿𝗈𝗋𝖼𝖾 𝗉𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗂𝖼𝗂𝗉𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇 𝖽𝗂𝖿𝖿𝖾𝗋 𝖺𝖼𝗋𝗈𝗌𝗌 𝗋𝖾𝗀𝗂𝗈𝗇𝗌?⁣ ⁣ • 𝖶𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝗂𝗌 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗀𝖾𝗇𝖽𝖾𝗋 𝗀𝖺𝗉, 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗁𝗈𝗐 𝖽𝗈𝖾𝗌 𝗂𝗍 𝗏𝖺𝗋𝗒 𝖻𝗒 𝗋𝖾𝗀𝗂𝗈𝗇?⁣ • 𝖶𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝖺𝗋𝖾 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗍𝗋𝖾𝗇𝖽𝗌 𝗂𝗇 𝗉𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗂𝖼𝗂𝗉𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇 𝗀𝗋𝗈𝗐𝗍𝗁 𝖿𝗋𝗈𝗆 𝟣𝟫𝟫𝟢 𝗍𝗈 𝟤𝟢𝟣𝟥?⁣ • 𝖧𝗈𝗐 𝖽𝗈 𝗆𝖺𝗅𝖾 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝖿𝖾𝗆𝖺𝗅𝖾 𝗉𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗂𝖼𝗂𝗉𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇 𝗋𝖺𝗍𝖾𝗌 𝖼𝗈𝗆𝗉𝖺𝗋𝖾 𝗐𝗂𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗇 𝖾𝖺𝖼𝗁 𝗋𝖾𝗀𝗂𝗈𝗇?⁣ • 𝖶𝗁𝖺𝗍 𝖺𝗋𝖾 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗉𝖾𝗋𝖼𝖾𝗇𝗍𝖺𝗀𝖾 𝖼𝗁𝖺𝗇𝗀𝖾𝗌 𝗂𝗇 𝗉𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗂𝖼𝗂𝗉𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇 𝗋𝖺𝗍𝖾𝗌 𝗈𝗏𝖾𝗋 𝗍𝗂𝗆𝖾? I’d love to hear your thoughts and invite you to try this approach or explore other visual alternatives! #powerbi #datavisualization #analytics #data #dashboard #reporting #visualization #pbicorevisuals

Just wrapped up Day 1 of the European Microsoft Fabric Community Conference happening in Stockholm, Sweden. I had the opportunity to attend the ‘Data Factory in a Day’ session led by Alex Powers , Sunil Sabat and Jeroen Luitwieler. The session was incredibly insightful, and the team did a fantastic job presenting the content in an engaging way. The event has been amazing so far, and I’m excited for the next three days packed with valuable sessions and fun! #fabconeurope #microsoft #fabcon #microsoftfabric #powerbi

I'm excited to announce that I've successfully passed the AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Exam by #microsoft . While initially not part of my plan, delving into cloud computing, particularly #microsoftazure, inspired me to undertake this exam. It provided a structured approach to mastering the fundamentals. As a data professional specializing in Microsoft technologies, I recognize the importance of a solid understanding of the Azure landscape in my professional journey. I owe a huge thanks to Adam Marczak for his invaluable video series on AZ-900 on YouTube, as well as the Microsoft Learn resources, which greatly contributed to my preparation and success in the exam. #powerbi #azure
