What a trip. Gaming is alive and steaming ahead in Saudi Arabia, leading the way as part of the MENA - 3! Myself, Tom Cunliffe and Mohammed Zubair had the pleasure of being invited to take part in the NEOM Level Up event in Riyadh, organised by DigiPen Institute of Technology, where we met some amazing studios - Nomadroid, Starvania Studio, Gameit, and not least of all, our very own Fahy Studios, who are leading the way in mobile game development in the Kingdom. It was particularly a pleasure speaking at the GCON DevSync Meet Up, as well as the International Game Developers Association (IGDA®) Chapter Meeting where we had some great discussions around the growth of gaming within the region, what publishers look for, and a whole lot more. This is a very exciting time for gaming in MENA, especially in Saudi Arabia, so watch this space, more to come from Kwalee!
