We are thrilled to announce that our work on Merwas | مرواس has been recognized at the 2024 #TRANSFORMAWARDS, winning Gold for Best visual identity from the professional services sector and Silver for Best Naming Strategy!
This journey began as part of Saudi Arabia's transformative vision for its entertainment industry, embracing a surge of talents. Aligned with this growth, the Merwas brand was launched to foster local Saudi talents and A-list artists from around the world.
At #Tajalla, we had the honor of developing the Merwas brand identity to resonate with talents and creatives. The brand is designed to evoke a sense of belonging, inclusivity, and an endless drive to create.
Inspired by this, we crafted a hand-sketched Merwas logo with a vinyl record and stylus needle on top. The moving record and glares reflect infinite movement, while the humanist typeface adds a layer of human talent empowerment. We also aimed for a branded house approach for a consistent and strong image to maintain awareness and loyalty among our audiences. With brand graphics including friezes, glyphs, patterns, and nested puzzle compositions, we implemented a brand that inspires limitless creations!
