We did it! We cut the ribbon on the new #BLUEHERO™ exhibition and collaboration space at our Automotive Development Center in Wixom, Michigan. Our plan is to use this space as a hub in the Americas to engage with customers and value chain partners globally on putting problem-solving #thermoplastics to the task of accelerating solutions for electric vehicles – a primary focus of our BLUEHERO #electrification initiative. ⚡ 👏 Thank you to Fahad Al-Harthi, our global Automotive director, and Lina Prada, global director, Application Development & Industry Solutions (AD&IS), from our Polymers business for helping our team inaugurate this new space. Across the globe, in our technology centers and elsewhere, our teams are coming together with the EV value chain to foster the kind of collaboration that can help industry push boundaries and resolve critical challenges around weight, cost, large part manufacturing, safety and thermal runaway protection, and more. Our efforts under BLUEHERO are helping to take the industry leaps forward. BUT we’re just getting started… and the road ahead is absolutely electric! Happiness is when you give the LAST talk on the LAST day at The Battery Show North America’s Open Tech Forum, and far more people show up than you expected! We’re going BIG at The Battery Show North America in Detroit this year and demonstrating new approaches in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of EV #battery packs with #thermoplastics. Did we mention we’re going BIG? How about 1.8 meters tall and 1.5 meters wide BIG? 😮 That’s the size of our multi-material pack enclosure demonstration part, featured in our booth (no. 4807).
