This paper presents a non-volatile advanced encryption standard 128 bit (NV-AES-128)
hardware encryption engine where the flip-flops of the AES hardware implementation are
mapped to a ReRAM based non-volatile flip-flop (NVFF). The NVFF is characterized based
on extracted view extensively to generate the essential information for front and back end
