Volunteer and get a larger network as newcomer to Denmark A number of networks and teams help internationals and their families settle well in Denmark when coming here.  Volunteering.dk made a survey with some of these professionals about internationals and volunteering. Meet Nataliia Krytskova skilled young journalist who came to Denmark from Ukraine in 2022. She has among other worked with TV journalism, but has also started aNon profit organisation to help Ukrainian soldiers and projects to help Ukrainian refugees in Denmark. Her dream is to use her skills in a job in Denmark. The Accelerating Nordic Integration program, that Natalia participated in during autumn 2023 has helped her understand danish culture better and has provided her with good networking opportunities. She has made valuable connections through the program and recommends newcomers to Denmark to join similar programmes to make life as a newcomer to Denmark easier and further integration.
