Last week, we held Risk Academy in Copenhagen, together with Insight Events Denmark.   The topic of the day was the risk management function. Leading experts Pernille Enevoldsen, Kim Andersen and Kenneth Ullmann Eenholt from Advisense, complemented by Anette Hjort Hansen and Bettina Høstrup as guest speakers, focused on operational requirements, practical exercises, and best practices for a compliant risk management. Last week Hubert Roslund, Director of Advisense had the pleasure of hosting this autumn's CRO-network. Being a CRO in a modern Bank is a true challenge and requires commitment to stay on top of an ever-changing agenda, ranging from credit risk to regulation and tech. We had a great session where we discussed and reflected on some of these current issues.   The topics at this fourth CRO-networking session included: - ESG / Double materiality - Operational Risk & Risk Appetite limits - Basel IV   One of the recurring themes throughout the various subjects was that the Banks are required to invest significant effort into regulatory reporting and that once that has been achieved, it would be a huge loss not to use it in a proactive manner to guide risk management and the strategic business agenda.   Thank you to the participating CROs for their openness, engagement, and sense of urgency.
