Argeo was established by an experienced team of professionals in 2017 with HQ in Asker, Norway. The team has spent two years developing its Digital Oceans Space concept and solutions for data acquisition, processing and modeling. Strong focus on robotized solutions that save time and cost for the customer. Proof of concept from successful projects within aquaculture and infrastructure with excellent feedback from clients. Focus on expanding into large markets within oil & gas, offshore wind, and marine minerals in addition to existing business.

Argeo was recently awarded a contract to carry out the initial site investigation survey for RWE’s Canopy offshore wind project in Northern California. The contract involves a 40-day initial site investigation survey, with an option for an additional 30 days. The first phase of the project will kick off in June, featuring Argeo’s Hugin 6000, equipped with state-of-the-art sensors, and a chartered vessel. “We are pleased to announce the contract with RWE. We bring our expertise in autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) surveys to the RWE Canopy offshore wind project, and we are confident this project will pave the way for future growth and innovation in the renewable energy industry,” says Argeo CEO Trond F Crantz.
