Today at iarc 2025 – the International Automotive Recycling Congress - in Antwerp, our CEO Hugues Delval took the stage to share his thoughts about the future of automotive recycling and how Autocirc is building Europe's leading circular automotive ecosystem. Key takeaways from his speech included ✅How we give new life to cars by maximising the reuse of components ✅How insurers and car owners gain on using reusable spare parts ✅How we provide a unique full-service offering with our ecosystem ✅How it isn't just about cars - it's about a future where sustainability, savings and quality meet Autocirc is today an impressive group of 66 companies in Europe with over 1260 employees. As a result of this, more than 350 000 cars were repaired with one or more reused parts from Autocirc last year. Considering that repairing an entire car with reusable parts can save 4 500 – 25 000 kg of CO₂ we are well on our way to shaping a circular and sustainable autoparts industry. "The Circular Car" Workshop 🚗♻️ Yesterday we gathered at our Autocirc company Walters Bildelar for an exciting workshop within the RISE Research Institutes of Sweden project "The Circular Car". One of the highlights at this gathering was the ‘Value Chain Game’ exercise, where we within the workshop challenged ourselves to put value on different car parts - what can be reused and what needs to be recycled? Through practical insights and engaging discussions, it became clear that circularity is the future - but how we value materials and components is a crucial part of the equation. The theme of today's workshop focused on finding added value in end-of-life vehicles and how we can develop design and material solutions together with car manufacturers.
