Book your place at the launch of a new guide Supporting Survivor-Practitioners in the Workplace - to share best practice about supporting practitioners with lived experience of sexual harm. …… This guide has been produced by the South London CSA Services as one of a series of resources, and is part of NHS England’s ‘Enhancing sexual abuse pathway for CYP in South London’. Other resources in this series include a Guide to Running Groups and a series of resources for children and their caregivers. The South London CSA Services resources are available for all professionals working in the field of CSA. The ‘Enhancing Sexual Abuse Pathway for CYP in South London’ programme, commissioned by NHS England, set out to create a collaborative partnership of CSA service providers; with the aim of increasing reporting and to create equity of access to CSA support services across South London, delivered in line with the Child House model. This guide is designed to encourage and support organisations to adopt best practice approaches to supporting practitioners with lived experience of sexual harm. Shaped by the voices of over 60 survivors-practitioners, the guide outlines recommendations to improve what and how support is provided by organisations and accessed by practitioners with lived experience; with practical tools for practitioners and their managers.
