As part of the European Commission's Digital Finance Package introduced in September 2020, the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is designed to unify and enhance the financial sector's defences against ICT-related incidents, including cyber-attacks and service disruptions. This vital regulation will take effect on January 17, 2025. The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is an EU Regulation that seeks to harmonise the FS sector’s approach and managing ICT risks such as cyber-attacks and downtime disruptions. It will apply from 17 January 2025.
