Last week, we wrapped up the Cultural Connections Project, an EU Erasmus+ project, with a workshop and dissemination event at Nobelvägen 21 in Malmö. Emiline Christensen explored and challenged our understanding of safety in relation to discussions involving ethnicity and culture, offering new perspectives on creating environments that foster open dialogue. This was followed by Julie Svanholm Brok demonstrating a practical workshop for how to make discussions and questions around sensitive topics less daunting and more engaging. We extend our deepest gratitude to Emiline Christensen and Julie Svanholm Brok for their contributions, as well as to the Civil Connections Community Foundation for their partnership. A heartfelt thank you to Malmö Ideella for not only hosting us but also for their continual support in our endeavors. 🌍Exciting News: Introducing the Iraq Climate Adaptation Network (I CAN)🌍 We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Iraq Climate Adaptation Network (I CAN), a collaborative initiative led by Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation in collaboration with alaghsan foundation CSO. This network is dedicated to strengthening climate change response across all of Iraq. It will serve as a platform for NGOs, INGOs, government agencies, and other stakeholders to come together, share resources, and coordinate efforts to combat the impacts of climate change. Why Join I CAN? -Become part of a vibrant community focused on climate resilience. -Access shared resources and stay updated on climate initiatives. -Participate in monthly coordination meetings. -Contribute to a national service mapping effort. -Collaborate on fundraising strategies and project implementation. International organizations are also welcome to fill out the form, whether for service mapping purposes or if they wish to support the network in any capacity.
