First DIBH with VitalHold on Radixact® | C-RAD AB, on behalf of the global team, congratulates Dr. Sanjay M H, Amit Nirhali & the entire team at Sahyadri Hospitals, Hadapsar, Pune, on the significant milestone of performing the world’s first Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH) treatment using the VitalHold™ Technology on Accuray Radixact® System.   🔸 The system was used for treating left breast cancer with supraclavicular fossa (SCF) node involvement. This advanced treatment, which minimizes exposure to the heart and lungs, marks a step forward in the ability to providing state-of-the-art cancer care in India.   🔸 The VitalHold solution incorporates a fully integrated and automated surface-guided radiotherapy (SGRT) solution on the Radixact System. SGRT is a technology that supports highly accurate positioning by scanning a patient's body surface and reconstructing it as a 3D image in real-time.
