This is marked by the launch of the first ever cider with zero alcohol, zero sugar and zero calories - just now debuting in Germany. “With Somersby Zero, we are delighted to launch a product on the German market that is not only unique, but also a real game changer in the modern cider sector," says Gunnar Fischer, CMO of Carlsberg Germany. The launch reflects our wish to align with key consumer trends, offering a carefree alternative for those who want to enjoy consciously.   • 1664 Blanc is available in +50 markets - this year, it already launched in India and soon Greece!   The Premium segment has become one of the strongest performers in our portfolio, thanks in no small parts to 1664 Blanc.   1664 Blanc is becoming much more than a beer.   It strives to show up where other beer brands do not by celebrating bold individuality and expression within fashion and the arts. Our Carlsberg Export & License partners have also helped our journey in bringing Blanc to consumers, e.g. via partnering up with companies like HiteJinro (Korea), CBC Group (Turkey, Romania, Israel) and Diageo (Ireland) to mention a few!   • Dream job? Birgitte Funch has been tasting beer for a living for 45 years! If there is one thing we don't compromise on, it's the quality of our beer. So much so, that we've built entire careers around detecting the slightest deviations in the flavour. For 45 years, Birgitte Funch has been a key member of our sensory panel. Her role here is to blind taste different batches of beer, e.g. Carlsberg, Tuborg or Kronenbourg, from our breweries and licensed partners worldwide, all sent to the Sensory team at our Research Laboratory for rigorous testing. If there's even a hint of something off - be it a faint note of sulphury like burnt rubber or onion (possibly caused by yeast getting stressed) or an earthy whiff - Birgitte will catch it. It’s the kind of detail a consumer would never notice, but if Birgitte detects it, it’s a no-go for us. The world's best taste buds? Probably! #Innovation #CarlsbergResearchLab

This year, Carlsberg has partnered with renowned artists 1983ASIA to create a limited-edition look for its iconic beer to celebrate the Year of the Snake, a time typically associated with prosperity. The two Asian artists behind the design, Yao from Malaysia and Su Su from China, have worked together to combine contemporary art and design with familial traditions that take place during Lunar New Year, helping beer drinkers celebrate in a truly special way.    The artwork concept commemorates the Year of the Snake’s association with wisdom, elegance and transformation, giving Carlsberg’s iconic hop leaf an all-new look for this year’s celebration.  The campaign is part of Carlsberg Group’s broader investments in premium brands, and accelerating growth in Asia  The Carlsberg Lunar New Year limited edition will be able to purchase from select retailers across China, Hong Kong SAR, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. #LunarNewYear
