A few weeks ago, we welcomed students from Malmö University’s Leadership for Sustainability and Leadership & Organization master's programs to Ödet for a study visit. It was inspiring to witness the beginning of their journey, which reminded us of the co-founders' experiences three years ago, when Jed Manguera Vaishnavi Srinivasan and Maximilian Pangerl started as students of the Leadership for Sustainability programme. Today, with sustainable initiatives like Ödet and Hajk , we're happy to work towards making our impact within the region. During our discussions, we shared insights and experiences on how leadership and collaboration can tackle societal and environmental sustainability issues in the city, and it was a pleasure sharing this moment with Torben Ohlander, Lotte Ohlander and Teres Arvidsson. We thank Fredrik Björk and Anders Edvik from Malmö Univerisity for facilitating the student visit. We can't wait to see what this new cohort will accomplish as they start their journeys toward creating a more sustainable future! 🌍✨

Cohabit is one of the companies that will be featured in the documentary "The Comeback of Youth Generation" by KBS Busan, the largest public broadcaster in South Korea. We had a fun day taking the KBS team with us in deliveries, which also included an unexpected elevator mishap that turned into a 45-minute BTS crash course for Max! The team also had the chance to interview one of our customers, Jana, who talked about her experience with Cohabit. Thank you to Jenny Levhag for making this introduction. We are always happy to represent Malmö University and Malmö stad and are excited to see the film!

📣 We are happy to announce that Chandrasekar Krishna Srinivasan has joined the Cohabit team! 📣 With 16+ years of experience in the IT industry, he brings a wealth of expertise and immense value to the team as we launch our online platform with circuly and continue to develop our tech capacity. Fun Fact: Chandru has been our most active Volunteer since Day 1, Cohabit would not be where it is without him. We are excited to finally make him a co-founder! We are also grateful for Maximilian Pangerl and his contributions to Cohabit, from our humble beginnings as a school project at Malmö University to our continuous growth and achievements today. We wish Max the best as he pursues other career opportunities in Germany, and he will always stay connected with Cohabit! 🛋 ♻

We are happy to share our collaboration with brilliant students from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Malmö University and Aalborg University! Feedback and fresh perspectives are crucial for finding creative solutions and working with these student groups has highlighted the value of academic partnerships. Here's a glimpse into the work they've done! 📊 ABCD Analysis: Two student groups from Blekinge Institute of Technology conducted an ABCD analysis, which focused on critical factors and provided valuable recommendations for strategic improvements. ♻️ Life Cycle Assessment: Through NORION Consult, a student group from Aalborg University in Denmark delved into Life Cycle Assessment, exploring and proposing sustainable and eco-friendly solutions to improve our internal processes. 💻 Social Business Model Canvas & Media Campaign: Creativity and practicality merged as students from Malmö University developed Social Business Model Canvases and detailed Project Production Plans, paving the way for a media campaign created to expand our reach and brand visibility. We are always eager to work with students and universities and plan to collaborate with more student entrepreneurs and circular enthusiasts! Are you or anyone in your network interested? Big thanks to our friends at Studentkåren Malmö for their generous donation of 13 foldable beds to Cohabit! 🛏️✨ Rather than discarding these usable items, Damilare Latinwo, the Student Union Representative for the faculty of Culture and society reached out to donate them to our growing inventory of pre-loved items. Do you have some pre-loved items that you want to donate? Reach out to us and lets give your furniture a 2nd chance! ♻️

Cohabit is growing, and we need your help! 🚀 🛌 We need to rent additional storage space for our furniture in Malmö and Lund between July and September as we prepare for the student's arrival in autumn. Do you (or anyone you know) have an unused garage, room, or building space (50-70 sqm) that you want to share with us? Let's make it happen! ♻
