Our team recently worked with Nestlé Health Science and Vital Proteins on their new global campaign. This was a great opportunity for us to flex our adaptation muscles (Is that a thing? It is now 😁) and show off the power of our platform and automation at speed, giving our client instant access to chop and change copy and video elements as they needed. F2 FTW! Wait, what’s F2? It’s something that’s been keeping our dev team busy this year, transforming the way stations manage their broadcast feeds. Each of PBS’s 250+ streams previously worked independently to receive their content feeds. What we wanted to do was interconnect their stations and have more control over their broadcast devices and streams, which we now enable using our software and proprietary Edisen Edge hardware. Essentially creating a central brain for their content management process. PBS member stations now have complete, unified control over the features of their broadcast devices, including the real-time condition of all their feeds. This makes their stations more resilient, and better informed. What’s more, since broadcast is a critical environment that requires constant uptime, one connection is risky, so to ensure feeds are maintained, we’ve given them the means to automatically select alternate streams to avoid any risk of interruption.
