⭐ Meet Mya Elliott ⭐ Logistics Specialist, USA “I love to learn and understand new things so I came into this role with very fresh eyes. Everyone I have met and worked with has been so welcoming and willing to share their knowledge and experience from all across the company.” Mya is a new edition to Hiab and the world of logistics. Just before starting at Hiab, she completed a degree in supply chain and international business. “When I graduated, I had no clue where I would fit until I discovered Hiab and fell in love with the company. Not only seeing the skill and craftsmanship of the machines, but how far the reach is all across the US and the world.” Mya’s team in global transport is driven by continuous improvement. From making small tweaks in the daily operations to pushing larger projects, the focus is always on improving efficiency, quality, and reliability. One of their recent projects proved very effective; by implementing a field return process they were able to bring in unused and obsolete parts for a value of 2 million dollars just this year! 💯 👏 Did you know? Mya is passionate about cooking and baking. She even has her own cookbook that she started compiling in middle school. Any time she gets the opportunity to create a dish from scratch she takes it!

⭐Meet Ruud Duijzings ⭐ Workshop Engineer, the Netherlands “I love my work and it is really great to work with a close-knit team like ours. 20 different characters in one workplace, every day with one goal: finish the work and keep all our clients satisfied and happy.” Ruud started working at Hiab’s workshop in Elsloo, the Netherlands, six years ago. He spends most of his days repairing MOFFETT truck mounted forklifts, but occasionally also gets to work his magic on HIAB cranes. Before he made the switch to hydraulics, Ruud worked as a car mechanic for 28 years. It is safe to say that he knows his way around a workshop! Ruud is an energetic presence to his team and clients. He always keeps the spirits high at the workshop with his passion for his work and infectious upbeat attitude. “Everything I do, I do with music. I love to sing the whole day through.” he shares. 💯 👏 Did you know? Ruud is the proud father of two daughters and one 68' Buick Sport Wagon. During the summer you can find him cruising around in the Buick and in the winter you will find him in the garage working on the Buick or another American classic.

“The most rewarding aspect of working on this project has been seeing our innovative technologies make a positive impact compared with previous designs. We've been inspired by the team's passion and collaboration, and we've enjoyed tackling challenging R&D problems to create something truly groundbreaking.” Problem solving, ideation, prototype testing – and yes, even an after work sauna were all part of bringing the game-changing MULTILIFT Talon to life. For this, the MULTILIFT R&D team in Raisio, Finland, has earned Hiab’s Innovation Recognition. The recognition is awarded to Hiab employees and teams who have contributed to the development of innovation for process development. The project team has been working tirelessly to perfect a design that is simpler, safer and faster than anything else on the market. They have certainly deserved some unplugging.
