It all started in 1954 when the travelling salesman Harry Lundvall saw a problem. Products were badly displayed and there were no prices in stores. This was during the time when groceries were evolving into self-service. So, Harry took matters into his own hands. Armed with an iron and sheer enthusiasm, he started manufacturing label holders and merchandising stands in his basement. His products soon created exposure and order in stores. Today our solutions are installed in 330 000 stores. Our near global reach and world class manufacturing capabilities enable us to deliver on both very local needs as well as large scale roll-outs. We lead the development in innovative and sustainable solutions, creating a better shopping experience for people all over the world.

🔐🏆✨ Award-winning security display by HL! 🔹 We're excited to share that we've won a Bronze POPAI Award in the Merchandising category for our Boots Out-of-Box (OOB) Security Display – a flexible, modular solution that protects high-value items like electric toothbrushes and razors. 📯 The judges’ ruling: “Well executed, sleek, modern design. The future-proof nature of the display is strong, with considered materials. Shoppers can interact with the products much more easily.” 🆕 With the frequent launches of new products in small electronics, Boots needed a display that could easily keep up. Our OOB security unit allows personnel to quickly swap out products, without needing to replace the whole unit or bring in outside help. We are delighted to welcome kostklip to HL! We are glad to announce that HL has acquired kostklip®, a Canadian manufacturer of in-store communication and shelf management solutions. This acquisition will expand HL’s footprint to North America, further strengthening its position as a leading supplier for in-store merchandising and communication solutions. “I am pleased to announce the acquisition of kostklip”, says Bjorn Borgman, CEO of HL Display. “Not only will we be able to support kostklip to expand their merchandising offer with HL’s leading portfolio of proven solutions, but we will also build on our similar heritage in extrusion and price communication. HL’s extensive experience within ESL attachments in Europe and our production facilities in both Europe and Asia will strengthen kostklip’s position on attachments in the expanding North American ESL market.” The acquisition was closed on 1 October 2024.
