It’s a real privilege to begin my first day as CEO of IAR with a strong interim report like this. Even more so, to lead a deep-tech company in the midst of transformation, alongside a dedicated team for the journey ahead. I am incredibly excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and am fully committed to driving the IAR’s continued success. Finally, a thank you to my predecessor, Richard, for all you’ve done for IAR and for me during the onboarding.

A stylish handover! In today’s interim report for the second quarter 2024, our operating profit has more than doubled to SEK 59.5 million (from SEK 22.7 million). Net sales are up to SEK 123 million, or a 14% growth. Despite global macroeconomic challenges, all our regions have achieved growth—a sign that we are on the right path. This report also marks Richard Lind’s last day as our CEO. Under his leadership, IAR has undergone a profound transformation. His guidance has modernized the company and established a strong foundation for continued success. We are excited to see Richard pass the torch to our new CEO, Cecilia Wachtmeister, a highly qualified leader who will steer IAR into a bright future.
