More proud news for everyone's Friday! Our team member Filip Christiansen has been invited to present our study "AI-driven ultrasound detection of ovarian cancer that generalises” at Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago (December 1-5). We are incredibly proud to share that our teammate Filip Christiansen, a dedicated researcher at Karolinska Institutet, and an integral part of Intelligyn, has had his research team's abstract titled 'AI-driven ultrasound detection of ovarian cancer that generalizes: an international multicentre validation study' selected as one of the five top abstracts at the 34th World Congress on Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Chosen from over 1,400 submissions across 78 countries, Filip has also been shortlisted for the prestigious 'Young Investigator Award' and will be presenting his work at the ISUOG International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology global congress in Budapest this September. A recent systematic review and meta-analysis published in the journal Applied Sciences highlights the significant potential of AI-assisted ultrasound diagnostics in gynecology, aligning perfectly with our mission at Intelligyn. The article features a study by Filip Christiansen, PhD student and lead AI scientist, and Professor Elisabeth Epstein, CEO and Head of Research, which compares the performance of AI models like IntelligynAI with expert subjective assessments for discriminating adnexal masses.
