Our newest typeface just launched: KH Teka Mono. KH Teka Mono is the monospaced version of our modern, rigid grotesque KH Teka. It covers a wide range of characters and opentype features. Our work for Tugg Burgers has been nominated for a Guldägg in the Design identity category. Guldägget is Sweden's oldest and largest communication competition. As a joint collab between Kurppa Hosk and Kurppa Hosk Communications, we gave the Swedish burger joint a distinctive new look, personality and voice — worthy of their exquisite burgers. This week, we welcomed Marius Hauland Næss from Snøhetta to talk to us about their 35+ years of groundbreaking work. Among the topics we discussed – what Scandinavian design means today, the need for constant reinvention in search of new creative expressions, and the benefits of inviting clients and stakeholders into the creative process. We looked at monumental, place-making projects like the Oslo Opera House and Times Square in New York City as well as graphic design for retail concepts and the launch of their own new website. I'm very happy to be back at Kurppa Hosk. Last time I joined was in 2011. Then we were a group of ten, fueled by Thomas Kurppa and Måns Jacobsson Hosk's ambition and determination to create one of the world's best design agencies. 13 years later that optimistic (and slightly world-detached) ambition has become a reality. With over 75 highly talented employees and a tenfold increase in turnover, Kurppa Hosk has firmly established itself as a defining global brand agency delivering both creative and strategic excellence. A lot has changed since 2011, but the challenger mentality remains the same. Now, as part of ARC Arise Consulting, we are challenging how an agency group can transform businesses through equal parts engineering, management consulting and creativity.
