Corporate Relations Committee On the evening of September 24th, the Corporate Relations Committee hosted an incredible PwC case training event in Malmö together with PwC, designed specifically for students eager to learn more about the world of corporate finance! Through interactive case studies, attendees got hands-on experience tackling real finance challenges, guided by PwC Deals professionals who shared insights from their work. Beyond just learning, it was a unique chance to connect with the team, understand the PwC culture, and explore what makes their impact so powerful. We wrapped up the night with a fantastic dinner, where students could ask questions and connect on a deeper level. Huge thanks to all the students who joined the event and actively participated and of course PwC Sverige for this memorable evening!

Corporate Relations Committee 💙 On October 8th, the Corporate Relations Committee hosted an engaging lunch lecture in collaboration with one of Lundaekonomerna’s partner companies, AlphaSights. A huge thank you to AlphaSights for making the event such a success! During the event, Erica Åström and Charles Bonfils-Duclos from AlphaSights delivered an interactive seminar focused on negotiation skills, featuring hands-on exercises for the participating students. Attendees also got the opportunity to experience the role of an AlphaSights associate, gaining valuable insight into the company’s operations and culture. The Corporate Relations Committee recently hosted KPMG Sweden for a case solving event for our talented Master's and Bachelor's students. With a light dinner, the students got to know the world of Deal Advisory, and got the chance to prove themselves with a challenging and interesting case. This was much appreciated by the Union, the students, and the company! The WILMA Committee 💙 We in the WILMA Committee want to thank all of our adepts and mentors for an eventful semester! We have celebrated International Women’s Day, had three exclusive events for our network, as well as had a very inspirational WILMA Vision. A special thank you to the incredible speakers we’ve had during the semester, whom we have learnt a great deal from: In honor of International Women’s Day, Pia Håkansson, COO at Grant Thornton Sweden gave us valuable tips on how to kickstart your career and how to get a foot in the business door. Johanna Jonsson ♠️, our WILMA Vision Lecturer, inspired us about her career journey towards becoming a CFO at Hemfrid, and discussed the daily tasks of her work. Johanna Richardsson, one of our mentors, spoke on Network Evening about how you can incorporate your passions into a career, in her case sustainability, as well as highlighting benefits of having, and being, a mentor. Eva Klevås, another one of our mentors, wrapped up the semester on Thank You Night by highlighting the importance of daring to try new things and stepping out of your comfort zone, your career does not have to follow a straight path. Samday 2024 This year, our IT career fair Samday set a new standard for collaboration between the academic and professional worlds of IT. The event provided a unique platform for students to delve into the real-world challenges presented by leaders in the IT industry. Featuring a blend of challenging case studies and vibrant networking sessions, Samday 2024 fostered an environment where students and professionals could share insights and perspectives. This year, we proudly achieved a record number of participants, showcasing the event's growing significance and appeal in promoting career development and innovation in the IT sector. Björn Svensson's inspiring speech was a highlight, offering profound insights to all participants. His words not only elevated the event but also reinforced the importance of academic and professional collaboration in shaping the future of IT. Corporate Relations Committee 💙 Three weeks ago the Corporate Relations Committee had their first event of this semester at their Pop-up event with CGI. Thank you CGI for an amazing event! 🌟 The Corporate Relations Committee organises events where students and company representatives can meet and network. This takes place under various circumstances, e.g. Breakfast Club, Case events, Lunch lectures, Pop ups and other customised events! Lund European Business Tour 13 - 18 November 2023: Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London Almost a month ago the annual Lund European Business Tour took 25 ambitious students, accompanied by the LEBT committee, to Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and London to visit 8 companies in various businesses to introduce the students to potential future employers. This tour has extended these students’ network and opportunities for after graduation and hopefully created memories for life by experiencing three wonderful cities. LEBT committee would like to thank all the students who made this tour successful, and of course all of the companies; L'Oréal, AkzoNobel, ACT Commodities Group, Adyen, Moody's Corporation, AlphaSights, EF Education First, and SEB for welcoming us and providing us with insight into your companies. This experience will be remembered and cherished by us all for a long time.
