The municipality of Lund in Sweden and Medicon Village will join forces in representing Lund in an Interreg Europe-financed initiative called HEALTH CITIES, that aims to foster innovative environments in cities for the health and life science sector. Interesting day yesterday, with a full house at the afternoon conference Medinnovation 2025, this recurring forum for the life science cluster in Skåne, focused on discussions about how we can collectively address challenges and opportunities through collaboration between industry, academia, and healthcare. This year’s conference was based on Sweden’s and Skåne’s new life science strategies.   A key takeaway from the day is that the innovative strength in Skåne is strong, and we now need to step up our collective contributions to strengthen Sweden’s position as a leading life science nation.
