  • 𝗠𝗘𝗞𝗢 𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 Today, March 14, the two-day event Auto Repair Trade Fair kicked off in Helsinki, Finland. As the leading automotive aftermarket operator in Northern Europe, MEKO is excited to be present at this event to showcase innovations, live demonstrations, and expert discussions on the future of car maintenance. Sanna Reunanen, CEO of MEKO’s operations in Finland, presented our take on the future of the aftermarket and Ville Schreck, Director of Workshops and Concepts at MEKO Finland Oy, talked about how vehicle electrification is reshaping the industry. ”In Finland, several initiatives are underway to strengthen MEKO’s position. One key project is the automation of the central warehouse in Helsinki – the hub of MEKO’s extensive wholesale operation for spare parts in the country. MEKO is packed with exceptional market, customer and product knowledge. For instance, our category and purchasing team has such deep expertise in spare parts that it’s enough to make any company envious,” says Sanna Reunanen, CEO of MEKO’s operation in Finland. MEKO in Finland works with strong market brands like Autovaraosa Fixus Oy, Mekonomen, ToolPack, and MECA Truck. The focus is on refining these concepts and ensuring operational excellence in our own branches. This includes further developing competence in electric vehicles, in line with MEKO’s strategic priorities. #MEKO #AutoRepairTradeFair #FutureOfAftermarket #Fixus #Mekonomen #ToolPack #MECATruck

  • 𝗔 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗘𝗞𝗢’𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 - 𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 MEKO stands as Northern Europe’s leading network of spare parts distributors. With a diverse portfolio of brands across eight countries, we navigate a variety of unique market dynamics while recognizing the key similarities that allow us to unlock new opportunities and leverage experiences from one market to thrive in another. Our reach spans Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, and Sweden. What works in one market may look very different in another; even a well-known brand in one country might play a secondary role just across the border. Understanding how markets and customer needs evolve is crucial for us. Maintenance and repair needs typically increase after five years, but advancements in automotive technology and global trends are reshaping customer expectations for digitalization, sustainability, and accessibility. "Recognizing these shifts creates opportunities for us to expand our offerings. Each year, millions of cars pass through our network of wholesale distributors, workshops, and branches, which include trusted brands such as FTZ, Inter-Team, MECA, Mekonomen, and Sørensen og Balchen. By embracing these changes and key market drivers, we foster long-term, sustainable growth—ensuring mobility for the future," says Pehr Oscarson, President and CEO at MEKO.
