Medicinsk Access wrote a great article (in Swedish) last week, about the possible improvements you can make with EEG-based focus training. "It's an area which is evolving quickly and research has proved that neurofeedback training with EEG could result in improvements in focus and a reduction in stress" says Doctor in Neurophysiology, Johan Agorelius. In our continued efforts to develop a gym for the brain Johan has been and will continue to be an instrumental pillar that we can rely on. Hopefully we'll soon be able to offer everyone the ability to lower their stress and increase their focus through easily accessible 10-15 minute training sessions. "Many organizations and companies have come a long way when it comes to offering a work-environment which promotes well-being and performance that work in harmony. But, many times the real conversation about what causes stress in the first place and how you could work proactively to build a company culture around that, are being neglected. It's an investment that many organizations unfortunately undervalue or don't yet see the profitability in" says Eva Hamboldt who specializes in Neuroleadership. Our CEO Charlie Ohlen was recently on a state-visit in Mexico where he was given the opportunity to present Mentalytics to H.M. King Carl XVI Gustav and H.M. Queen Silvia. 👑 "Interesting product", said King Carl XVI Gustav when hearing about the possibility to train your focus using a wearable headband and a computer game. The delegation was focused on Sustainability, Connectivity, and Nearshoring, where Charlie Ohlen was given the opportunity to speak on some of the downfalls of being constantly connected to the world around us. Another target area for Mentalytics was the topic of nearshoring, and since manufacturing companies are moving more and more of their production to Mexico, Mentalytics of course wants to see what we can do to help them thrive. We want to extend a special thank you to Business Sweden for organizing the delegation and event!
